Description
Day 1:
Your 2 day excursion begins from Edinburgh. The first thing that you visit on this 2 day excursion is the Forth Railway Bridge. It is the only cantilever bridge of Scotland region. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then enjoy a riverside stroll in the Highlands at Dunkeld. This beautiful village is located on the shallow banks of River Tay.

Your journey continues on A9 and you will drive by Pass of Drumochter. It is the only Mountain Pass between Northern and Southern Scottish Highlands. It gives you stunning views of the peak and Cairngorm National Park. You will be visiting Culloden. It is a place where last Religious Civil War was fought at the end of 17th Century by Jacobites. The Great War was fought against British Government Forces. Entry to War Memorial and Cemetery is optional.

Your first day will end in the beautiful town of Fort Augustus, at the banks of Loch Ness.

Day 2:
Wake up in the fresh surrounding of Loch Ness. After enjoying delicious Scottish breakfast. There will be a short journey to board the Jacobite Steam Train aka ‘The Harry Potter Hogwarts Express’. This is one of the Greatest Train Journeys of the World and it will take you past Britain’s Highest Mountain, deepest Loch, Shortest River and many other attractions en route. Your train will travel by the viaduct exactly shown in the Harry Potter movies. Your train will also pass by the lone standing Glenfinnan Monument. It was erected at the end of 17th Century.

You will have time to enjoy Lunch (Not Included) when you reach West Coast Town of Mallaig. It is a working fishing port and famous for the seafood. You may also would like to enjoy Mallaig Circuit Walk which offers stunning views of Mallaig Harbor and Loch Nevis.

Your return journey to Edinburgh will begin by visiting Glen Coe; a beautiful village settled in Scottish Highlands. It is located on the confluence of River Coe and Loch Leven. This village offers some amazing views. Glen Coe is also the place where MacDonald family was massacred. While coming back, you will enjoy beautiful views of Rannoch Moor and Stirlingshire.

You will return to Edinburgh around 08:00 pm on Day 2.
