The tour commences towards the North York Moors National Park, one of the largest stretches of heather moorland in the United Kingdom. Our first stop is magnificent Castle Howard, wherein you'll have enough time to learn the beautiful and exclusive houses and gardens either independently or with the well-informed Castle Howard guides. The breath-taking 18th-century residence, the setting for Brideshead Revisited, rests within 1,000 acres of stunning landscape amid the Howardian Hills, an area of exceptional natural beauty in the heart of North Yorkshire.

From here, it's another half hour approximately to the historical market town of Pickering, wherein you'll have precious time at leisure. Maybe pop into one of the local tea rooms or country pubs for lunch (own expense), or check out the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Station, where you may find a steam train coming through.

Our first stop in the National Park is Goathland which is approximately 20 minutes from Pickering, which was once the setting of the English TV drama, Heartbeat. Also see in real, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Station which was seen as Hogsmeade Station in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Exploring deeper into the heart of the park, you'll cross charming villages such as Egton before halting at Beggar’s Bridge, around 20 minutes from Goathland. Hop back and enjoy the scenic driveway through beautiful heather moorlands: watch out for grouse and other native wildlife. Don’t forget to capture the picturesque views of the iconic Landscape.

Then next is the postcard-perfect village of Hutton-le-Hole, where sheep graze freely and lastly Helmsley, explore the bustling market square before heading back to the Leeman Road.
