Description
Canava Roussos, the oldest on Santorini was founded in 1836 to produce top quality aged wines. The legacy has been passed on to generations with the same consistency, continuity and absolute respect and expression is given to the island's art of wine-making.

Koutsoyannopoulos Winery and Wine Museum is the No 2 Wine Museum in the world. Being the only one of its type in Greece, the Wine Museum uses up a natural cave. It is eight meters below ground, 300 meters long and has a labyrinth-like shape. The Wine Museum presents the historical past of wine and the life of vine-growers in Santorini from 1660 to 1970. The visitors can find out about the history of wine by viewing semi-mobile and still-life figurines.

Founded in 1903 by George Argyros, Argyros Estate was transformed into one of the largest estate in Santorini by his grandson Argyros. It is the biggest vineyard spread in total 30 hectares today. Now it is owned and managed by his son Matthew, the 4th generation of Argyros, who look after the management of the winery and continues the family’s long tradition in winemaking. The exclusive thing about Argyros Estate is that it blends the ancient traditions of Santorini together with the latest modern wine technology to produce some of the most highly awarded wines of the island. Their wines feature a wide variety of native grapes including Assyrtiko, Athiri, Aidani, Mandilaria and Mavrotragano. Experience the best of the wine tasting before heading back to where the excursion started.
