Description
On this full-day excursion, you will explore the countryside of Scotland. Your journey will start at 9 in the morning from Edinburgh. Your driver guide will take you to the countryside of Scotland.

As your driver takes you out of Edinburgh; the first thing you will explore on this excursion is The Kelpies, two 30-metre-high sculptures of horse-head. Later, you will be passing through Stirlingshire; your guide will explain you about the life of William Wallace. You will stop at the lovely city of Stirling for about two hours. You have enough time to explore the magnificent Stirling Castle* OR you can also stroll through ancient streets surrounding the Castle.

After being mesmerised by Stirling Castle; you will travel by the Duke’s Pass where you will see beautiful Trossachs National Park and its Lochs. This is the place where ‘Rob Roy - The Highland Rogue’ and other films were shot. You will also visit Aberfoyle,  a small holiday village for lunch (Not Included). Next stop on this excursion is the small but beautiful village of Balmaha where you can take a short but steep hike up to Craigie Fort to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings.

Your final stop is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, Glengoyne. It is one of the oldest distilleries functioning in Scotland since 18th Century. Here you can learn the process of how they create the perfect spirits, and you can taste a couple too! (Optional) OR If you aren’t interested in whisky you can walk to the nearby Dumgoyne Hill and enjoy the stunning waterfall.

This Excursion lasts for around 10 Hours.
