Description
Enjoy a day of picturesque grandeur as you go to one of the far-flung ranges of Scotland-the Applecross Peninsula. This amazing day trip takes you through a portion of the UK’s most stupendous view and is a perfect option to scoot away from the worries of ‘Ultra Modern’ Lifestyle.

Your full day excursion to the wonderful Applecross Penninsula begins with a drive over the picturesque Black Isle. Your first stop is the dazzling town of Lochcarron, which sits next to Loch Carron - without a doubt one of the pearls of the North Western Highlands of Scotland. You'll then go to Ardarroch to capture the magnificent views over Loch Kishorn to the mountains on its opposite shore.

Your excursion proceeds with the vivid drive towards the Bealach nam Ba (the Cattle Pass in Scottish). The Pass is the third highest motorable road in Britain and scales up more than 2,000 feet! You'll stop at the view point for stunning and panoramic views over to Raasay and the Isle of Skye before driving down to Applecross Town.

Applecross is a wonderful town located on a curved shallow beach. Here you can enjoy marvelous views of a seascape or discover more about the checkered history of the Highlands at the Local Information Centre. The Applecross Town is filled with wildlife. Nature enthusiasts can spot Red Deer, Pine Martens and Otters. Pine Martens are considered as the rarest species in the UK.

From Applecross, you'll drive towards beautiful shores of Loch Torridon to Shieldaig where you'll have a quick stop before heading towards the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve. This is Britain's first National Nature Reserve and home to antiquated Pine Woods and Hawks. You'll then travel towards Kinlochewe and Achnasheen, from where you'll head straight to Inverness.

This Excursion lasts for around 9 Hours.
