Description

Stonehenge Tour
This bizarre landmark on Salisbury Plain has had visitors scratching their heads for thousands of years. Is it an astronomical clock? A temple? An ancient burial site? Make up your own mind on our stop at Stonehenge.

Salisbury Tour
Soaring 123 metres (404 feet) into the sky, the spire of Salisbury is quite a sight. A leading example of early English architecture, Salisbury Cathedral was built 800 years ago and contains the famous Magna Carta. See the awe-inspiring cathedral and one of the most celebrated documents in English history. Originally an agreement between King John and his barons at Runnymede in 1215, the Magna Carter is now considered a cornerstone of liberty in much of the civilized world.

Bath Tour
Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful bath was the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modelled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio, are all sights to linger on in the memory of your day.

Windsor Tour

Set against a beautiful historic hilly backdrop overlooking the river Thames, Windsor Castle proudly stands in all its grandeur. Being the Queen's weekend residence, this castle originates from the Norman times, with lush gardens and the Round Tower. Allow Globe Trips to whisk you away to this majestic location and get a glimpse of the lavish and ornate State Apartments, home to treasured art pieces by Rembrandt and Da Vinci to name a few. Furthermore, on this enchanting escorted tour of this alluring castle, pay respects at St George's Chapel, the final resting place of English monarchs such as Henry VIII. Finally, be intrigued at the incredible fully-functioning miniature dolls house of Queen Mary, with working lifts, running water, electricity and wine bottles!

Entrances not included in the price of the tour.

This tour will finish at approximately 7.00pm in London.
